== Chapter I: A strange new world == [[File:FAS Dormitories.png|thumb|480x480px|The Feyrer Aeronautical Ship's Odyssey of Hope Dormitories]] Waking up in terra incognita, six-stranded souls find themselves lost, confused, and unaware of anything. All they know is that one moment, they were somewhere else, and the very next one, they found themselves in an artificial location, with a grass patch underneath their feet, and a trickle of rain hitting their face. After the group talked among themselves, they quickly realized that they weren't alone. A voice from above spoke to them, of course, facilitated by the use of an intercom. The voice, who donned a Canadian accent, introduced themselves as a person with answers, and soon, guided the group towards the Observation Deck. There, the blast doors that protected the windows from the outside, cold hard vacuum of space slid open, to reveal a handful of spacecraft, lumped together. The overseer, who named themselves 'Overseer Feyrer', spoke about the state of the world. [[File:Screenshot 821.png|left|thumb|531x531px|The recently arrived group.]] The world- or the universe that they found themselves in was tarnished-- ruined by an immense, galactic-scale war, where the weapons used were of such magnitude, that the very fabric of spacetime itself was affected. Severely enough that the universal membranes that separated each universe from one another began to break down. Though it did not stop there, nay, the ripple effect of this war was so extensive, that it threatened to affect much more, holes made in the membranes made it so that innocents had to travel to this universe. The overseer explained that he was tired, prepared to die in the station that the group found themselves in, all sense of hope had been lost to time, for he remained there for many decades. However, the prospect that a new group of people had 'arrived', people strong with a good combat sense, some knowledge in arts of engineering; could bring this station back online. Of course, the calm was soon to be interrupted. Powering up the station caused it to appear like a giant 'blip'; and soon after, the station was boarded. Overseer Feyrer quickly handed out weapons, and dispatched the team to secure the station. The team quickly moved to the hangar, and after clearing it, they headed deeper into the control room, where they began interacting with the squad leader of the invaders. They detailed that things were not as they seemed to be; something which was already obvious. But perhaps.. someone was hiding something. Nonetheless, the group engaged in battle, and due to their superior numbers and tactical skills, quickly overpowered the squad leader and their goons. Shortly after they had died, Overseer Feyrer returned to them and explained that they could not remain on board. Remaining on board meant that the station had to be fully powered up to sustain so many people; Life-Support; Energy and Food requirements; Water Filtration, and Lights-- it simply was not viable. So, Feyrer proposed that the group is teleported into a planet, a planet that was empty, and that had the possibility for them to survive until he could find a way to mask the station's energy signature. Feyrer lead them all into the core, and there, they were teleported. Their destination, however, was incorrect, and instead of being taken to the planet that Feyrer mentioned, they were taken to Pyroxis. A lush green planet, hiding horrors underneath its surface. The group now had to survive, with limited equipment, food, and water.
