This character is played by Master Cheeks.

Act I
Arrival
Jack Mender was one of the first people to appear on the Odyssey of Hope. He and five others woke in a space station that seemed all but abandoned including notable people such as Shiba Kanei. Jack woke confused and lost, unaware where he was with the only knowledge to him was his name and title as an ODST. It was also discovered that his VISR (Visual Intelligence System, Reconnaissance) was damaged during interdimensional travel leaving the ODST with no record or information on anything to do with his world. He was promised by Ethan Feyrer that he would try to get Jack's memories back in some shape or form in which the ODST agreed, working with the group in pursuit of his past.

Aescir Conflicts
Shortly after arriving on the FAS Odyssey of Hope, the crew aboard were attacked by a faction known as the Aescir Rogues after Ethan Feyrer had switched on the station's systems powering them on after decades of inactivity. The crew, Jack included fought through the attackers but the group were then teleported to a planet named Pyroxis to get materials and to give the Overseer time to cloak the station from the Aescir threat. Pyroxis was a desolate abandoned world, with nothing but a fading memory of war seen with its destroyed cities and empty landscapes. As Jack and the group ventured there, his VISR would suddenly activate for a short moment. A friendly IFF tag was seen before it would disappear, him and a few others would investigate and Jack would discover that it came from someone, someone from his own world. A Spartan-II supersoldier. Jack was aware that he couldn’t remember his world, so he asked the Spartan for help. She told him about the Covenant and UNSC, and managed to get details on Jack’s role in the UNSC. An ODST assigned to the Phoenix-class vessel named the Spirit of Fire, used early on in the Human-Covenant War. Jack and the group as a whole would then rest, waking up a delivery sent with his name on it would be sent. He would open it and inside, there would be an amount of small headsets inside, when worn the user would see a HUD giving various details such as their vitals, ammunition count with their weapon and a digital compass. Shortly after the Overseer appeared stressing that the group should head towards an Aescir outpost not too far off from the group's base. Jack and the others prepare and gear up, before storming the Aescir outpost discovering that the group's presence was now known that the Aescir view them as a threat. One to be afraid of. The group now we're left with one goal before being able to return to the station, take down the Aescir’s commander. The commander was hiding in a cave in the wilderness of Pyroxis, the group armed and ready went down into the depths slaughtering teams of Aescir soldiers. However, the commander was swift and managed to escape. With materials and food and water in hand, the group was able to be brought back to their new home and were shown around the station without interruption.

Rendath Conflicts
As Jack and the crew returned back to the FAS Odyssey of Hope, they began to find themselves in a state of rest. Able to train and learn more of the universe they were all seemingly stranded in. Jack himself began to talk with Ethan Feyrer, discussing the potential on gaining insight on his UNSC past as well as learning some of Ethan's motivations and history. A few weeks or so had passed and one of the members of the group, Emil had fallen ill. Slowly infected with some sort of virus due to his ventures in his own world. Jack and the crew were sent off to attack a facility occupied by the The Rendath Confederacy, a faction forced into war using interdimensional technology in their efforts to control the universe. The group infiltrated the base, eventually finding the medicine required to treat Emil as well as a Interdimensional Funnel. A device built by the Rendath that enables the usage of travel across worlds.

Xenomorph Connection
As the Dimensional Dams were put into a state of disarray the group all found themselves in some sort of pocket dimension. It was small around the size of a tropical island. The group had found a shuttle and aimed to fix it, but something lurked below the island's dilapidated buildings. A strange terrifying alien species known as Xenomorph's rested in the caverns of the island. Jack unknown to this was on a patrol alone and had heard the guttural screams of the creatures from a distance, The ODST had to use survival and cunning to survive and he had to sneak his way around what was then confirmed to be their main hive on the island. The Xenomorph's were at every corner, the ODST moving slow and steady but he was eventually spotted fighting through dozens of the tall black aliens. The soldier ran out of ammo for his M7S Caseless Submachine Gun and was approached by one of the creatures. Jack remained still and the lone Xenomorph got closer and closer, a strange sickness plaguing his mind for a moment the alien about to strike him down. Jack then took out his Combistick, a retractable spear and impaled the alien making his escape from the hive.

A while later the group had to explore the deepest depths of the island, an old facility located underground left abandoned and uncontrolled. The expedition went smooth until one of these Xenomorph's were seen, but it did not attack. It simply watched from a distance walking away as the group went closer. It was almost like the alien was beckoning the group, beckoning someone. The group went down to the lowest point of the facility and dozens of Xenomorph's were seen, but none of them were hostile watching the group with bloodshed in their minds. The group had entered a large room and a giant Xenomorph was what awaited them. The queen of their entire hive approached but her attention seemed fully affixed towards Jack Mender. The ODST was suddenly picked up, the group raising their weapons. The ODST was pulled close and a wave of memories flashed through his mind in an instant detailing the creation and entrapment the Xenomorph's faced in their original worlds. The ODST cried and recoiled in pain and the group opened fire but now everything the queen had felt, the ODST did too. The pain of bullets striking his armour, piercing his skin absolutely overpowered him and the queen was eventually killed. It was like a drill going straight into his head. At the end of the slaughter the Xenomorph the group saw at the beginning at the venture was seen walking towards Jack as he slowly recollected himself. The alien had nothing to say, but seemed to follow and listen to his each and every word. The group grew confused, the ODST distraught. The group and the Xenomorph had to put aside their differences now with the obeying alien being coined the nickname Rookie.

Death
Aberrant's Betrayal
As Jack and the group were exploring a mysterious facility, the Mobile Sentry known as MS-01 Aberrant had turned rogue. His creator Kaz, and his brother Cogent were killed shortly before causing Aberrant to gain a distain for humanity blaming it on the death of his family. The Mobile Sentry lashed out at the group and had attacked them. The whole group fought Aberrant with Jack attempting to connect with his VISR to try deactivate what sort of protocol the Mobile Sentry was running to fuel such a angered frenzy. A Guardian by the name of IMP-7 fought hard against Aberrant the two exchanging blows, the Guardian entering a weakened state. Aberrant in a last ditch effort began to overload his fuel cells. Jack and IMP rushing to him with the Guardian keeping Aberrant pinned while Jack attempted to stop what would have been a nuclear explosion. The two failed, the group narrowly escaping and Jack Mender was then killed in the explosion.

Personality
Jack is a soldier of very few words. Often observing the groups actions simply giving his input when it is most needed. He is never one for informal chatting, and his voice comes across as calm and stoic. Jack as reserved as he is has shown glimpses of being even a little laid back to those he absolutely respects most. Jack has shown that he abandons his reserved self if those around him are put into danger often going down the path of least resistance just to ensure that nobody is hurt. He's shown this time and time again with the reason of his death purely coming down to his protection of others.

The Xenomorphs were at every corner, the ODST moving slow and steady but he was eventually spotted fighting through dozens of the tall black aliens.

The expedition went smooth until one of these Xenomorphs were seen, but it did not attack. It simply watched from a distance walking away as the group went closer. It was almost like the alien was beckoning the group, beckoning someone. The group went down to the lowest point of the facility and dozens of Xenomorphs were seen, but none of them were hostile watching the group with bloodshed in their minds. The group had entered a large room and a giant Xenomorph was what awaited them. The queen of their entire hive approached but her attention seemed fully affixed towards Jack Mender. The ODST was suddenly picked up, the group raising their weapons. The ODST was pulled close and a wave of memories flashed through his mind in an instant detailing the creation and entrapment the Xenomorphs faced in their original worlds.

A strange terrifying alien species known as Xenomorphs rested in the caverns of the island. Jack unknown to this was on a patrol alone and had heard the guttural screams of the creatures from a distance, The ODST had to use survival and cunning to survive and he had to sneak his way around what was then confirmed to be their main hive on the island. The Xenomorphs were at every corner, the ODST moving slow and steady but he was eventually spotted fighting through dozens of the tall black aliens.

A Guardian by the name of IMP-7 fought hard against Aberrant the two exchanging blows, the Guardian entering a weakned state.

Jack Mender was one of the first people to appear on the Odyssey of Hope. He and five others woke in a space station that seemed all but abandoned.

Jack Mender was an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, he was from the Halo universe and was known for being one of the first people to travel across into the Tradeworks universe. The character is played by Master Cheeks.

History
Arrival
Jack Mender was one of the first people to appear on the Odyssey of Hope. He and five others woke in a space station that seemed all but abandoned.

Shortly after arriving on the FAS Odyssey of Hope, the crew aboard were attacked by a faction known as the Aescir Rogues after Ethan Feyrer had switched on the ship's systems powering them on after decades of inactivity. The crew, Jack included fought through the attackers but were then sent to a planed named ___ as Ethan had to switch the ship back offline to prevent further attacks. Jack was then stranded with the crew on ___. Jack and the FAS' crew scavenged the planet discovering the whereabouts of an Aescir commander as well as a hefty amount of resources that could to ensure the group's survival. The outpost was attacked with the commander fleeing, but the crew had found the resources and were then brought back to the FAS Odyssey of Hope.

A Guardian by the name of IMP-7 fought hard against Aberrant the two exchanging blows, the Guardian entering a weakned state.

Jack Mender was one of the first people to appear on the Odyssey of Hope. He and five others woke in a space station that seemed all but abandoned.

A Guardian by the name of IMP-7 fought hard against Aberrant the two exchanging blows, the Guardian entering a weakned state.

Early Life
Ethan Feyrer is a Canadian Scientist and Engineer, born in 2038, in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Ethan's Memoirs don't disclose many details about their personal life details, however, some minor details are known. He was born to a family of three, that being his brother, Riker Feyrer his sister, _______ Feyrer. The Feyrer Estates were located in a century old plot of land owned by the Feyrer family. He often details having issues with his brother and their sister, and having a rather unstable childhood. One incident that he details is rollerblading across the large hallways of the Feyrer Estates and him getting yelled by their family.

Education
Ethan has often boasted about his education, though he never really did reveal where he attended to get his certificates and degrees. What little is known, however, is that he attended a rather expensive institution, where only the richest, or the brightest were able to get in. Now, Ethan boasts that he's both, but while he is intelligent, he doesn't have much.. sanity, in a sense. He'll do the most stupid things for no reasons, or be confrontational where he shouldn't be, because he'll clearly get in trouble.

Seoul, 2068
Ethan studied, worked and lived in Canada for the most part. However, around twenty sixty eight, that's when things took a turn for the worse. Ethan's family was in a sort of.. rivalry, with another family, and things had escalated rather severely. Ethan's bank accounts and assets were frozen, and he had to flee in order to start a new life, he fled Canada, and embarked on the Unified Koreas, where he planned to explore the multiple things that Seoul, in specific, had to offer. However, getting there, things were quite different than what he had expected.

He had the clothes on his back, and a rather small amount of credits to his name, enough to get him an apartment, a rather comfortable apartment, actually, and that was good, considering he lived in a rather troubled part of Seoul, a smaller district, with barely any police involvement. There, he meet his future wife, the highly augmented and modified Ripperdoc, Venus, and then later on, reunited with their daughter, Uchida Feyrer. With the three working together, the first variation of Feyrer Industries started in an old, licensed factory in Ethan's name in Seoul.

It was during this time that Feyrer and their group began their confrontations with a larger company that ruled over the city, Falcon Corporation. A tyrannical corporation with less than stellar ideals. Ethan and their group were, in fact, so controversial during their time in Seoul that they had made enemies of them, and in doing so, Uchida Feyrer was kidnapped, and then tortured. It took a few days until they were tracked down, and eventually, rescued, and Ethan's new inventions came in handy in their final battle. The Flux-Compressed Feyrer Electromagnetic Grenade, MK. I. The MK. I EMP Grenade, essentially, was single-handedly responsible for winning the fight and absolutely destroying their enemy. Uchida's return compelled Ethan to take a new direction in their company, and therefor, the Legionnaire MK. I Coilgun was developed. It was capable of absolutely tearing through a standard Falcon soldier, and later on, the Purity Model MK. I Powered Armour would be developed, which was funded by the Feyrer Industries' Subsidiary of Venus Augments, which brought the company millions of credits, and kickstarted their development.

Feyrer Complex & Feyrer Aeronautical
Months had passed and business was booming. At this point, the Feyrer Complex was founded, a large underground superstructure that would house the second phase of the Feyrer Industries plans, which was to kickstart Feyrer Aeronautical. Feyrer Aeronautical was founded and utilized one basic element, which was the element that the Feyrer Androids were constructed out of, a living, adaptable metal, that would require energy to grow and develop further. The Feyrer Complex in itself, served as the foundation-level design for the Feyrer Aeronautica Ship, the Odyssey of Hope. The Odyssey of Hope was Ethan's, at the time, concept project, and future starship, built out of living metal, with enough technology to house enough Researchers and other specialized officers to develop and expand the knowledge of the known universe, like any good scientist would. The name meant quite a lot to the Scientist. Tired of being confined by the Earth's corporations and pointless things, they seeked more. It took at least two more decades until the first prototype of the technology was applied on a large scale manner.

The Arria Codex
The "Arria Codex" project was developed by Ethan Feyrer in 2068, a prototype of the Feyrer Android project. Arria contained a basic operating system, in a sense, a basic personality subroutine that would allow human with human interactions, and a very large memory storage system. The entire principle of the Arria Codex Project was to create a sort of living matrix and framework for all Feyrer Aeronautical Ships. The idea was that, even though a pilot was good, and a ship could be manned by people, there are certain things that human reflexes can't handle, however, an artificial being could. Adjustements in Space Travel, Alert Detection Systems, the usual. However, what Ethan didn't expect was that it went so well. The reason to why the personality subroutine was added was to give the ships some personality, as well able to perceive and detect dangers in a more "irrational" manner, considering computers would automatically be confined to logic structures. The project lasted up to 2080, where the project was completed then.

Ethan Feyrer and the Intergalactic War
In the 2080s, this marked the first interaction of Earth and the War. There were already a lot of companies that ocused on Space Travel and Colonization of Space, however, it wasn't until this decade that the first travel outide of the solar system was completed. In 2081, Feyrer Aeronautical launched the FAS Sagan, a near autonomous small shuttle with the first prototype Faster-Than-Light engine, developed by Feyrer Aeronautical. The propulsion system was rather mediocre compared to what was utilized by the FAS Odyssey of Hope. The flight plan was simple, the shuttle would take off from the Feyrer Secondary Shipyards around Lunar Prime, and would engage it's FTL Engines when it reached Mars. It would travel pat the Oort Cloud and would embark into the Kepler System. The pilot, a fully trained soldier, made it within the shuttle, and so followed the flight plan. However, what happened next, wasn't expected. The shuttle itself was equipped with antenna that allowed communication back to Earth at almost real-time views for telemetery report and communications with the pilot, though these at the times were rather primitive. When the shuttle reached the Oort cloud, a few lightyears past, suddenly the FTL engines gave out, and the shuttle found itself in, quite literally, a warfield. The shuttle which was rather primitive to the what is now known as Rendath Warships and Aescir vessels. The small shuttle was transmitting all of this information all the way back to Earth, and it began powering it's engines, flying out of there, as ordered by Feyrer through radio. Feyrer was rather..- astounded by what he saw. Alien vessels, engaged in a a firefight? This changed everything. Feyrer Aeronautica's principle for exploration quickly changed to an "Earth Defence" policy. Quickly, he gathered the Divisional Directors in an emergency meeting, where they spoke about what was reported. He ordered that Satellites be constructed in Lagrangian Points around the Earth and the Solar System, and that these satellites communicate in between eachother to form a defence grid. He did this, of course, without authorization of the authorities responsible for managing space. He coated the satellites in radar absorbing technology, essentially making them stealth weapon satellites.
Jack Mender was one of the first people to appear on the Odyssey of Hope. He and five others woke in a space station that seemed all but abandoned.

A Guardian by the name of IMP-7 fought hard against Aberrant the two exchanging blows, the Guardian entering a weakned state.
Jack Mender was one of the first people to appear on the Odyssey of Hope. He and five others woke in a space station that seemed all but abandoned.

=== Aberrant's Betrayal ===
A Guardian by the name of IMP-7 fought hard against Aberrant the two exchanging blows, the Guardian entering a weakned state.
History
The Rendath Confederacy is one of the larger factions that occupy the Milky Way Galaxy. Pioneers in Dimensional Experimentation, their technology is often not matched by anyone within the universe. What they lack, however, is large quantities of numbers, meaning that for all their technology, they usually have to automate things in order to reach a point where they can manage their large territorial expanse. They have existed for hundreds of thousands of years, once considered a pacifist people, the "watchers" of the known galaxy, they occupied themselves with the development of their own homeworld and their technologies. However, the war forced them out of their pacifistic ways, and with their way of life threatened by outside forces, they began taking a much more offensive approach, acting under the philosophy that if they controlled the entirety of the galaxy, then there would be no more war and no more threats, no matter the cost.
Jack Mender was one of the first people to appear on the Odyssey of Hope. He and five others woke in a space station that seemed all but abandoned.
